Losing lots of weight and also muscle. I just started using my protein drinks again to help with that. Im eating the South Beach diet and this is the first time Ive lost this quickly...thinking that might have something to do with it. Was thinking when the body starts to lose the fat does the muscle have a harder time staying up with the loss of weight if the body isnt getting enough protein?
If you are losing a lot of weight fast chances are is that it is muscle instead of fat. The body looks to use energy from the easiest thing to break down...muscle. I would defintly add more protein!:(
