I like to stay up to date even with topics not so dear to my heart, as there is always something to be learned. This is the latest development.
No big loss if you ask me.

No sweat of their backs...all this is going to do is erase their debt....or restructure it at pennies on a dollar...don't see this going to chapter 7, the liquidation process...a true 'destruction' of a company....

If they lay off the BS multi-page advertising in all of the magazines they'd never had to file in the first place.

lmao.
Its a class 15 menace. Not real sure about the legal stuff (I study kinesiology, not law) but something to do with them being a canadian company filing in the US.

I am guessing it's similar to Chapter 11 if it was filed in the US....it just assures relief from creditors in the short term...and gives company time to 'restructure' its debt...in many cases if the company is still able to operate profitably...and has assets which are able to generate revenue/profits....the company will not be liquidated and instead the debt is restructured to give relief to the company and provide some financial repayment to the lenders...

I guess no more 1/2 magazines with their ads....I would imagine that gets very expensive quickly...
