I like to make CD's with songs on from various artists, then I'll title them for running, weight training, or biking at the gym.

I usually listen to rock also. Stuff that has some really good beats. That stuff gets me motivated. I find the band disturbed to get me really pumped up. System of a down is awesome also.

I like to listen to Audioslave, Breaking Benjiman, and other things like that. I want to get cds of System of a Down, Disturbed, and Drowning pool because they are good rock bands with cool songs to get pumped. I think listening to music helps me get into the training, keep it fun, and keep my mind from thinking about other things. It helps me alot. Thanks for posting guys.

The theme song from UNDERDOG!
When criminals in this world appear And break the laws that they should fear And frighten all who see or hear The cry goes up both far and near For Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Speed of lightning, roar of thunder Fighting all who rob or plunder Underdog. Underdog! When in this world the headlines read Of those whose hearts are filled with greed Who rob and steal from those who need To right this wrong with blinding speed Goes Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Speed of lightning, roar of thunder Fighting all who rob or plunder Underdog. Underdog! Sigh... I really miss Underdog -------------- Anni ******* Hard work must have killed somebody |

Suicide Music? Ha:laugh:, well Simple Plan and Good Charlotte are good bands, but Simple Plan depresses me. The song about the dad and not living up to his dads hopes is sad.:( But hey, I still like those bands. Good music. |

i think what you listen to, to get you "pumped", depends on what you have been through in your life, does that sound crazy

I'm big on good techno to get the blood flowing and the adrenaline rushing. Like Voodoo and Serano, Mortal Kombat, I also enjoy some heavier music like mentioned above. In particular, Sevendust, Slipknot, Metallica and System of a down is awesome as well.
Some old school rap also does the trick, and least but definetly not last any of the music off of the Rocky series soundtrack! |

Hell yeah! Tiesto is awesome. I love working out to his music. It makes so focused and pumped. Then I will listen to some of his quieter stuff to relax and go to sleep to. He is just unbelievable.

rock music is great to work out to. I especially like classic rock playing,Led Zeppelin is a favourite of mine but really it depends upon my mood. Alice in Chains is another favourite but sometimes i will stick on some of my hard house exodus rave music, old school style, that really gets the blood pumping.

I don't listen to music while working out. But if I did, I would listen to some Underoath, The Used, Thursday, and Thrice. But then again on other days I'd want to listen to some Linkin Park with Jay-Z or some hip hop. It would depend on my mood.-------------- I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle-victorious. --Vince Lombardi "Decide what you want, decide what you are willing to exchange for it. You ever listen to Japanese Pop? That stuff can really get you going. I went on a 5 mile uphill hike this summer and listened to Jewel the entire way. You know if your walking uphill and you walk backwards it feels kinda like your walking downhill. But anything that has a good beat can really get you going. Especially dance tracks and hip hop. And while I am talking about the excercising I am stuffing cake into my mouth so yeah.

This is one of those threads that can go on forever. If there's one thread that is worth reviving it's this one. I even refer back to it occassionally for new ideas of what to put on my MP3 player. Rather then making new posts on this subject I'm glad it's all in one place.
