Assuming you meant an "unreasonable goal", care to back that up blue??? I've brought peoples bench up 30 lbs just by working on technique in a single session.

Agreed wrestler....most peoples technique on bench is horrible...if he's an average person then he can add 30 lb just by changing his form....and 6 weeks is a decent amount of time...6-8 weeks is often used as a cycle to gain strength....hell i prolly added 10-15lb just by improving my form even more slightly and focused on maintaining proper tension during 1rm...which is vital...

Work on your technique, but don't just assume that this goal is absolutely out of reach. My bench went up 25 pounds in the last six weeks (155 to 180). You just gotta do the right workouts and bust your butt with training AND recovery.
