I just wanted to share this with you as real chocolate has always been my craving along with ice cream in 2nd place..
In bed watching tv I reach for a small ramakin of dried dates(2 ounces) as my substitute chocolate. They have natural fruit sugar, fibrous and close your eyes with that and a cup of malt drink/coffee/milk. They are a gorgeous not so naughty treat... Or my fav dinner...
Pork and prunes in a oniony gravy, cajun spice with a little raw cauliflower and brocoli- yum yum
I mix one TBSP of cocoa powder (15 calories) and 2 TBSP of splenda into my coffee when i am craving chocolate. No dates will ever replace my chocolate.
Chocolate is actually full of antioxidants and is good for you!
All things in moderation instead of deprivation make for a happier life, in my own opinion.
