I mix it with about 16oz of water or crystal light but soon as I stir it (for about a minute) it all drains to the bottom of the glass? Do I have to chug it like within 10 seconds then? Eating it raw is just nasty and something I dont want to do.

What type of Creatine are you using? I have used Optimum Nutrition in the past and mixed it with Apple juice or Grape juice. And yes you should drink it down as quick as possible. Creatine is not designed to stay in liquids for a long period of time. I now just throw the 5grams on my tongue and wash it down real quick with juice..

It's the EAS brand. Im going to have to try putting it on my tongue first. Slick trick never thought of that :)

Well It has been an hour since taking it and I feel nautious. I had a tub sitting in my cabinet and I went off of it a long time ago and figure why not start again (I forgot why I went off of it) Im light headed and feel like im going to puke plus I think it has induced diarhea. Bah I will stick to my protein. Are these normal symptoms?

Yeah, When I first start back on Creatine after being off for several months I feel the same way, real sick to my stomach, and light headed, it seems to eventually go away after the first 2 or 3 days.. I have been off for the past 2 months and fixing to start back this Wednesday, so well see if it hits me again... Good luck!

pat-I dont think I will stay on it. I hate staying on things that make me feel bad and weak on my 1st try (I know my body should adapt but it doesnt feel natural) plus I feel week and couldnt probably lift as much as I have been. Sucks because I want to make good gains and creatine is suppose to be good. But I hate puking and feeling weak and sick.

Happens with every creatine....the key is, don't let it "sit for a minute". Keep stiring it and drink it right away before it settles or do what HECDAREC does.
-------------- May the lift be with you.

Well I found out the reason why I was feeling weak and sick after taking it. DONT TAKE IT ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. I took it with my lunch (put it on my tongue and swished water in my mouth) worked like a charm and no sickness. :)

I purchased one of those sport bottles from GNC.. it's a good buy if you can get one or something close enough to it. A nice wide mouth to pour stuff in, and a convenient opening to drink from that opens and shuts efficiently. I put my creatine in there with water/juice and before every sip I shake it back up. I use the GNC "Creatine Monohydrate" brand, which doesn't seem to dissolve as good as say Cell-Tech. However, yeah.. try shaking it up a tad before every sip to get it mixed up again. Kind of annoying, but I believe it works.

creatine does tend to settle fast but try using one of those generic bottles that GNC sells to mix shakes....they have a cap with a fan shaped ring inside of it. You can sip it and shake in between sips if it starts to settle. If this still doesn't work try adding the creatine right in with your protein shake, that seemed to work well for me when taking creatine
