hello, I need some help with my diet. I am 5'10" 250lbs. I have been working out (cardio and weights) for about a year, and I feel like I need to kick it up a notch. When I started I was between 290 to 310. I did measure before I started. But I have been at 250 for a while 8 months? Maybe less. I know one problem is not enough consistency with my diet. After reading different post im more confused than ever. So I am going to list what I mainly eat everyday. My choices are a little boring but here it goes:

8:00am premade packet oatmeal with water-multivitamin
9:30am fat-free yogurt
11:30am roast beef on whole wheat/mustard string cheese apple
3:30 celery with all natural peanut butter
6:00pm dinner usually meat rice or potatoe and vegetable
7:30 workout
8 to 8:30 protein shake with blueberries and 1% milk

maybe a handfull of pretzels or a pickle sometimes
good, bad,ok I want your opinion. i have to work about at night between 7:30 to 9:30 I cant really change that.
thank you

Ok......First off your not eating nearly enough calories for one day I'm 5"11 185 and to loose weight i eat 2800 calories a day. Right now your probably loosing as much lean tissue as body fat. Remember muscle burns fat 24 hours a day. Ditch the packet oatmeal. and get the old fashioned quaker oats 1 cup each morning add some egg whites and/or cottage cheese. brown rice good not sure if thats what you mean when you say rice. Drop the milk post workout and mix it with water. Drop the yogurt. Make sure your getting atleast 1g. protein per lb. body weight. add some chicken, tuna, groundbeef, steak, egg whites, for protein. what kind of ptotatoes are you eating? Get rid of the pretzels if you must snack have some almonds ar whalnuts. Hope this helps as a good start.
