Hi, this is basically about my diet. it occurred to me that this ebsite doesn't lay out what you should eat in a day. I was wondering what I should eat? I'm tring to lose a bit of weight.I'm 231Ib and 6'0 feet. I also want to put on muscle.During the summer, I started running a mile lose weight. I also started lifting weights but am having trouble on the diet. I don't know what I should be eating that will help build muscle? Can any one direct to a website or give advice? thanks alot:cool:

10 healthy shopping tips....

1. Buy orgainic if you can(if you can afford it and find it)

2. Seek out free range and hormone and antibiotic free beef and chicken.

3. Learn about mineral rich foods....kelp, spinach, etc.

4. Use expeller pressed or cold pressed oils..especially olive oil, (for cooking). This preserves the oil's full nutrient spectrum, which is compromised by other extraction methods.

5. Select dark leafy greens...mixed salad greens, kale, spinach, for optimum minerals and antioxidants.

6. Favor brown colored foods...brown rice and whole grain breads, crackers, and pasta all offer abundant fiber and are richer in vitamins than white flour only products.

7. Try whole grain cereals...oatmeal, multigrain hot cereals and muesli, for max nutrients.

8. Use nuts, seeds, and nut butters..for snacks and in your meals to balance blood sugars and serve as a source of good fats and minerals.

9. Use fresh herbs...for added flavor without added fat.

Just some tips I found in a mag that may help you.
