My wife's out of town and I'm cheating

I cooked a home made garbage can pizza and I'm eating the whole thing...by myself. I mixed up chocolate chip cookies and have 2 dozen in the oven. I have 9 episodes of Little House on the Prairie on the DVR and I'm gonna eat and eat and eat and watch TV!!!!

I dont know why, but charlie's post reminded me of a t-shirt that I saw once:

"ATF: Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms....... who's bringing the chips?"

I have to splurge like that every once in a while or I go crazy. I have great willpower and mindset, but after a month or two it's about time for a splurge. Then I make myself sick and get more motivation not to eat like that. It's a vicious cycle.

I think a lot of us that read Charlie's post put on a few pounds this weekend. I've been really strict for the last three months and after reading the post and a few of the follow ups I had to think hard about the last time I'd had any comfort food. As a result, I had a BIG Reuben sandwich and later nachos with all the trimmings. :)

Charlie, you are welcome anytime but I have to warn you that my property is a tornado magnet. I bought this place primarily because it was shady but after the last four storms my shady place is a sunners paradise. Got a drink waiting for ya. Healthy of course. :)

I did good on my mini vacation, with the exception of the Ham & Cheese Croissant. All else was pretty good.

I have a huge weakness for Ham & Cheese Croissants, or Piroshky's too!!!

raven...I think we're the same person...first Coldstone on Friday nights and now Ham and Cheese Croissants. On the weekends I usually go get donuts for the kids and the little bakery up the street makes some good ham and cheese croissants. I try not to get me one, but occassionally I'll go up there before I get the chance to eat something on Sat morning and I just gotta have one.

now my tummy is craving piroshky's!!! Everytime I am down at Pikes' Place market, I always have to stop by that little Russian place and do i get just one piroshky? No!!! I have to buy like three different ones! My eyes are always bigger then my stomach. Those are my downfalls and whenever I see a ham & cheese croissant, that's all she wrote!
