Hey everyone, as you can see in my profile, I'm a college athlete, I've done the dieting thing (and am still continuing), but i can't seem to get rid of fat deposits at my stomach and love handles, and i've often been accused of being "too thin" at least in the parts people can see. Where do I go from here?

What is your idea of 'the dieting thing' ? That is where your answer will lie. What kind of exercise do you do besides crew?

asimmer, thanks for the reply! A typical day of eating on my diet for me is 3 egg whites for breakfast with salsa, 1/4-1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese, and a banana with cinnamon. Sometimes I mix it up with oatmeal (only add cinnamon and 2 tbsp brown sugar) or other multigrain hot cereal (i take out another part if i eat the hot cereal) for breakfast. For lunch I either have canned soup (lowfat only) or a can of tuna fish and I snack on carrots and/or whole wheat pretzels during the day. Dinner is usually meat (salmon, catfish, or chicken --occasionaly pork or red meat), a green vegetable, (usually kale or peas), and a starch (whole wheat pasta or potatoes). I don't add butter or other fattening sauces. For dessert I stick to sugar free jell-o. I've been off the diet for the past few weeks or so, but am back on as of yesterday. I train for crew 1.5 hours every morning but for the last month and a half haven't done anything else regularly. Yesterday I started doing crunches (three sets of 50), and push-ups (15, 12, 10) before bed. I signed up for the fitness plan and the nutrition plan,(so far it's 3:45 and i've only had 973 cal), today as a starter but I'm hoping to get some more personal advice here in the forum.
