Hi guys ive done some searching and i pretty much know what i need to know but i have some final touch up questions. I have been lifting for almost a year now and havent seen the results I wanted. I know its mostly my diet which is the problem(not consuming near enough. Im 6 foot and weight about 175 but put only about 2200 calories in a day). Im going to be doing the 12 week mass and strength program.
My question is about how many calories should i look to put in a day. I play basketball once a week and run 2 times a week.
Also, are there any supplements besides the meal replacement and whey protein shakes i bought that i should take. I dont want to take creatine but i heard of something called N02 that is suppose to work well.

with 2200 calories i am surprised you're not losing weight with bball once a week and running twice a week.......to put on weight...with such activity level you probably need right around 3000 calories a day.......

I really suggest you start taking creatine it will likely boose your strength by about 10%....and you'll lose a bit more extra body fat and it even improves brain function....it's a very interesting supplement....I suggest you take 5grams a day for 30 days then 2-3 grams there after ....especially on lifting days directly afterwards...

I suggest the new CEE creatine versions...however if you wanna save money then try the cheap creatine monohydrate version...it absorbs a little worse...with CEE version you may need only 2-3 grams for 30 days.....either way it's very important along with protein....

NO will be a waste of money to you more than likely.....

i agree. lift heavy, eat clean, eat often, lift heavy, sleep. you dont need to worry about the final touch up things yet.
