I am 16 and I weigh only 120 and im 6'2.I will like to gain weight but not with fat, I want to be built and be strong.I have dumbells at home and a bench but i dont use it.I was wondering if anyone could help me make a routine such as how much reps and sets i should do.I will like to workout 3-4 times a week no more then an hour though.If anyone could help with some info it will be appreciated. Also I really only need to focus on my upper body i need a workout plan for my legs and they are strong but my upper body needs a lot of work and its hard because im skinny.Any help is appreciated.

You would really benefit from one of the great programs provided for free on this site. Go to "fitness plan" in the toolbar at the top of the page and then click on the link for "personalized program". Just enter in some personal info including what types of weights you have available to use (free or machine or both). Then an individualized program will be developed for you. The programs are great. They will provide workout routines including number of sets and reps. You will need to decide how much weight to lift and gradually work up in amount as you get gains. They will also provide a nutritional plan and some great links on useful tips as far good foods and what not to focus on in including with your diet. Remember to eat a well-balanced and nutritious diet. Your body needs the right kind fats and carbs as well as good sources of protein. This is lots of great info on this site and especially on the message boards. So look around and I would recommend starting one of the programs on this site to get you started. Good luck! :big_smile:
