So I have been working out for about two years now I have lost 25 lbs. Came from 185 to 160. I am a senior in Highschool and this is where my problem is on getting the proper diet and exercise.

I wake up around 7:00 A.M. and have to be at school by 8:00
which gives me enough time to eat and digest.
I have 5 periods a day, 1st,2nd,4th,5th are 75 minutes long
and my 3rd period which is when lunch is, is 90 minutes long
I eat lunch at 11:55.

I plan to start taking Whey Protein to help in my 5-6 meals a day. The problem is, I dont know when to eat and when not to. I have weights for my first period. So do I take my shake an hour after weights or what? also besides just weights every day, i do some sort of cardio exercise for 45 minutes 3 days a week. i also work mostly after school, but conveniently enough i can still get my 3 days of cardio in on a week. really what I want to do with my body is put on more muscle, but also tone my abs and the rest of my body. If you can help please message me on this!!

A protein shake after lifting is always good. However, don't get carried away with them, try to get most of your nutrition through food. If you want to gain muscle, increase your calories in your diet.
