Anyone have a nice recipe that will work with fresh salmon? I got a fairly large salmon steak today and I'd like to put it on the grill. I'm having a hard time deciding what to season it with. I have fresh dill...thought that'd be good. Any suggestions of what to go with it? Please keep in mind that I'm trying to lose fat.

MMmmmmmmmmmm....my favourite.
Try it with a little brushed on olive oil, paprika, lemon juice, dill, and garlic. And don't forget the veggies!
If you are doing it on the outdoor grill, try indirect method.

Salmon is such a savory fish that you almost need nothing to make it taste good. A simple recipe would be salt, pepper, chopped garlic and lemon juice.

I just saw a salmon recipe that used orange juice and herbs for the marinade instead of lemon juice. I thought that sounded good.

I usually marinade mine with kikomen teriyaki marinade with some garlic for about an hour, the marinade is very low in carbs and fat and then throw it on the grill, taste great

When I make salmon, I usually marinade it in OJ with a dash of garlic, then brush on a mixture of bar-b-q sauce and sweet n' sour while cooking until the sauce carmelizes. Montgomery Inn barbeque sauce is the best for this because of its sweet flavor. OK...now I'm getting hungry.
