Supplements can be a great aid with your health and fitness goals. Combined with the proper exercise and nutritional plan they can be quite effective.

I have recently started back working out after a long absence. I currently weigh 290lbs and. I have worked out alot in the past and weight training is usually the best way for me to loose some weight. I am back in the gym now and my goals are to loose body fat and to gain muslce. I want to start on some type of protein routine, but not sure where to go with that....what are some good suggestions of supplements to take, and when should i take them....Thanks

Just starting back, I would not worry much about any supplemental protein. Get your protein from diet first and foremost. With you being as you sound a bit overweight, your body will regularly give up fat anyway.

Even though you are just starting make sure your protein levels are balanced. You will need protein to prevent over training. Supplementation should be started as soon as you begin working out. You will need a good multivitamin, BCAA's, Anit-oxidates and most likely a protein meal replacement. I would look into Apex and a supplement brand. It is awesome and it is made by Phoenix Labs, which is a pharmaceutical company and the delivery system is untouchable.
