I am very skinny. 16 years old, 6'3, 137 pounds...very very skinny. Everybody has told me that I burn more calories than I take in. So I try eating more, but it doesnt seem to work. Im also trying whey protein, which I havent seen results of yet, but it hasnt been too long.
I've worked out to tone up, but now theres no point because no muscle mass is being added on. I need to gain fat . I've tried everything, 3 months ago, I had mcdonalds everyday for lunch for abour 1 and a half months, it did nothing but slow me down during a game. Ive tried eating big meals, but they do nothing.

I need to know what I need to do to gain weight.
I need to gain weight, and also work out at the same time, and still be able to play basketball.

How many meals should I be eating a day?
How many whey protein shakes?

I really need help, any advice would be appreciated.

You need to eat more.
I would guess you need to eat 3500-4000 calories a day.

And quit eating at McDonalds.

The typical hard gainer is such because he does not have a diet adequate to his needs. Calories in > calories out on a consistent basis.

I have started eating 6 meals a day, two of them being weight gainer protein shake.

Anyway I drink the protein shake first thing in the morning, with a multivitamin, but this makes me too full to anything else for a couple of hours. What should I do?
