Hi my fellow members, i am new here and there is something in training that is really giving me a headache. I am really well built. i dont get problem with building any other muscle in my body, except my calves.
They burn alot it is my only weaker part. My question is is there any way i can get it bigger without feeling those pains. I need to get them bigger soon because i am preparing for a bodybuilding contest and am scared they may dissapoint me.

The burning pain you described... is that during the exercises you do for your calves, or are you talking about DOMS? In terms of buiding up the muscles, make sure that you're fueling yourself adequately before you lifting session, and make sure that you get some protein into your system within an hour afterwards. Stay very well hydrated all the time.

I wear shorts at the gym so I am self conscious about my calves and have to work them. Usually smaller muscles, high reps heavy weight and at every workout to failure. Hope this helps.
