Julisa Posts: 87 Joined: 2004/01/27	2004/02/03, 08:33 AM Could somebody please tell me why most people assume that if you work in a "man's field" and/or you care about fitness and muscles that you are "butch"? OMG, I am so sick of the attitude. I am a woman, I paint my toenails and I like to watch mushy movies, and I get cramps every month just like every other woman....why the definition of "butch"? Just because I have an intrest in protecting the public and keeping my body fit?!?!? Ok, I feel some better now.

You are either thought of as "butch" or "easy", very unfair. The only advice I would give is to keep your head up and do your thing. But you put another woman in the general area and it is automatically assumed that I slug beers and watch tv with my hand down the front of my pants!! AUUGGHHH!!!

I bet she wouldn't let you play the protector either, did she Charlie? Well, at least you loved her enough to want to, now that is what I call a REAL man!!

Julisa...there are alot of female officers here, and wow, some of them...I wish I had them to protect me, and others, I wish would have dated me! But all in all, people should realise that no matter what we do, we are all equal humans,the only thing is, us men can't get pregnant, and women can't pee on a tree!
