Hi I am 18 years old. I am a part time student at MACC. I work 19 hours a week. I also have a 13 month old daughter who is my world. I need someone to talk to. Maybe you can be there for me when my times get hard. Well if you will please respond to this message. I don't know what to do anymore, I can't find the time to lose the weight I want so if anyone has any suggestions please respond. Thank You!

Youngmom, if you are determined to do this you will make the time. It sounds like you have a tough schedule, but you have to make your health a priority for the sake of your daughter. Think of it that way. Can you get up an hour earlier or go to bed an hour later? I remember working out to Jane Fonda's first workout tape, doing floor exercises and my 5 month old son was on the floor beside me trying to nurse. Workout videos, with and without weights, were a savior in the days when my kids were little. I didn't work, but I had 4 ages 5 and under which was still pretty challenging. Most gyms offer childcare, which I was able to take advantage of as well. Also, what about taking walks with the stroller. Find an hour each day and work on your diet. Lots of information and support here to help with all of it. Read the stickies in the appropriate sections to get you started.

Hello youngmom
I recently had my first child also and the best advice I can give you is pilates. I bought the winsor pilates collection and it did WONDERS! I did the pilates which only takes about a half hour, so it's great when you don't have the time to spend working out. I went from 187lbs. to 124. I also did watch what I was eating and made sure I drank at least the eight glasses of water a day. Hope this helps a little. Good luck.
