Hello everyone,
Glad to be joining FT. I've been looking for a website like this for a long time now. My question is this: What about cardio.... I mean there is plenty on weight lifting but shouldn't I also do some running? I think my profile is filled out properly but if you have question then just IM me.
Just in case: Special ft Programs -Glutes and Thighs, Wide Shoulders, 12 Week Abs, Calves. Intermediate 4/wk. 145lb goal 115. 5'7", 22 years old. Don't want to bulk up just want to tone my body back to what it was.

On your workout program, after the weights workout, it doesn't say something like "Perform 25 minutes of cardio fitness of : Stairmaster(tm)"? It should be listed there I think.

Cardio is cardio, really. I believe that anyways. Just keep your heart rate up there for 25 minutes or so and you can choose which activity you'd like to do.

Hi, cardio is cardio, like good say tara :) personaly, i strongly believe in running, coz benefit is not only you feel great physical ( fell your body ), but if you run in nature, is superb for psychic. But remember as allways, balance is the key - this mean- if you not running before (and if you are overweigt, reduce weight firs - you knucklebones may hurt) - start with walking first..

my abdominal muscles are not equal. i mean one side (vertical) is located a little bit higher than another one. at least, it seems to me so. so the abs seem to be asymmetric. why is it so? is there any help, appart surgery?

Cardio is a very important part of working out. It keeps your body ready to burn any extra calories that may enter it. Everything has to be balanced out properly. I actually like riding a bike to the gym in the morning and later again in the evening.
