Hi,
Just became a member and really want to succeed. I am 41 years old and for the first time in my life having to learn to lose weight! Always seemed to come off naturally without much effort! Have gone through some difficult life events and lost a bit of my self-esteem along the way. I am looking forward to losing some pounds and getting fit physically and mentally. Wish me luck and any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Good luck on reaching your goals. One of the added benefits to becoming more physically fit is that it impacts your self esteem dramatically. Physical fitness is all about diet and exercise. As for tips and suggestions, the message boards are full. Any specific questions that you have will be answered by the many helpful, knowledgable people here. Again, Good Luck
