Try this if you wanan really blast the back, traps, and legs on a deadlift day..do at the end of the normal work out..
Get a barbell, and put a light weight on.....for me thats 135.....You can always do another set, this is completly diff. so alow your self a lighter than normal set.
Now standover the bar, take you fingers, and touch the plat you have one each side, slid dowm it and put as much of your finger son the side of the plat as you can...youc an grip the other side with your thumb. Now pull together with your traps , pretend your hand ar ea vice...and squeeze the plats to the bar.
Now with legs spread apart stand up like a deadlift. Lower posistion on the bar makes you drive extra, and the weird grip really tests your strength, its coll to do , looks really cool and "tough" and burns like crazy.
