Hi everyone! My name is Jessica. I'm 22yrs old, 5'6" and I weigh 160lbs. I don't look fat but I can tell I'm pudgy in a few areas. I just got engaqed this past summer and I so I've been trying on wedding dresses. This is why I'm here. I need to change my body. In all of the pictures my arms look overly fat. How do I tone these up to look good in a strapless dress? Also, I have a long torso so my legs are short. Therefore all my life my thighs have rubbed together and I hate it. I need to know how to tone my inner thighs up so they won't do this. Anyway, I'm on weight watchers and they tell me how to eat, but not what exercises to do. So I need some help with this please...THanks so much!!!!

Hi,
usual advice at this point is
1) Read every sticky thread you can find
2) Sign up for one of the free excercise programs
3) Do what all the above said to do!
Good luck and welcome!

Jessica,
Congrats on your engagement! I just got engaged myself and I have some work to do as well. Weight Watchers will help you lose some weight, but you are right that you should definitely do some toning exercises. You may even want to do a consultation with a personal trainer. There are a lot of great home use dvds out there. Best of luck. Keep us posted on your progress!

I have a friend on Weight Watchers and if I'm honest I hate them!
It seems to be a crutch and an unplug your brain way of losing weight. The problem with that is that you can't ever stop without putting the weight back on. Maybe it works really well for some people, but my advice would be to learn as much as you can about nutrition and make good choices for yourself. That's a life changing adjustmtnt in attitude to your diet as opposed to a 'diet' (if you get my drift).
Alternatively ignore me, just not a fan of these 'diets'. If they were so successful how do they stay in business? *mutter mutter*
:)
