I am a father of 2 who is divorced. I work as a painter in the family business. Basically I come from a football background. Everyone has a reason why they started fitness and football is mine. I wasn't the skinny boy who got beat up. I wasn't the fat guy who got teased. I just wanted to be stronger than everyone else just so I could say I was stronger than everyone else. Well after high school I stoped being active. Then I got married. Had kids. Here I am at 26 and I am more fat than muscle and I am sick of it. I wasn't meant to be this way I just forgot how important it was to stay in shape. I let myself go and wasn't paying attention to the guy in the mirror. I came here to get back in the habit and find information and support. There are some things I have forgotten and things I never knew and I want to learn them. I aint lookin for a quick fix but if I am going to put forth time and effort I want results. Wasted time to me is like slaping me threw the face ... I don't put up with it.
As for my hobbies ... I take care of my kids, I am a sports bike fanatic, I don't care much for TV, I love movies, and other things.
Main problems ... I hate to run because I am a smoker. I can't stay angry so motivation is a problem. I got a lot of fitness related doubt which is why I came here.
