Hi all! I'm Karen. I'm 24, a full time working mother and wife, and I've come here for support to hopefully reach and stick to my fitness goals. I'm a member of a fantastic gym, and have been for a few months. Although I've been going for a while, I haven't seen much as far as results because, to be honest, I haven't applied myself like I could. I'm 5'7", and 160lbs. Prior to getting married, I was 129lbs, which I actually felt was too thin, so I'm aiming for somewhere between 135-140, just a nice fit, healthy size/weight.

I'm not terribly overweight, I'm a size 10/12, and am fairly active, but my diet is HORRIBLE. Because of having a 2 year old, I eat a lot of fast food and junk, and I admit it's my fault - if I took the time to plan, I could do much better. I also have a terrible addiction to Starbucks Frappaccinos (w/whipped cream).

So, my goal is to really work hard to clean up my diet, and stick with my excercise regimen. Wish me luck!

Welcome! It is hard to be a mom sometimes. Is there anything lighter at Starbuck that would be just as good but easier on the Calories.

"Because of having a 2 year old, I eat a lot of fast food and junk" All the more reason NOT to eat a lot of fast food...set good examples from the beginning so you don't have to try and force your child to eat healthy later :)
Goodluck and welcome!

Make a Large goal easier by taking small steps. If you make small goals you will feel like you are accomplishing something, because you are.

Keep up the good work!
