Hi, Im a 29 year old male. Im 6 feet 195 pounds. I just started lifting weights and doing cardio for the past 6 months. I was slightly overweight and weighed about 230 pounds. I lost the weight even before I lifted or by doing any cardio. I lost it by going on a strict diet and unfortunately taking Stacker2 pills.
Going to the gym the past 6 months I have seen some results. My arms are starting to get defined and so are my shoulders. My chest is showing slight definition. My question is....is it safe to run on a treadmill 30 minutes and afterward do an hour of machines ? I have been using this method ever since i joined a gym. I also noticed I am the guy thats drenched in sweat in the gym. Is it safe ?

Safe? How do you feel when you are doing the cardio? If your heart rate is reasonable and you feel ok: can concentrate, hold a conversation (minimal), etc. its probably fine. Some guys sweat alot, some not so much.

My ft routine calls for 25 min of cardio after a workout, though I my weight routine is around 35 min. I only stop when I run out of time - and I'm 46. You should examine your routine for overtraining and/or too much time between sets.

Hmmm well my heartrate is about 160 to 180 when im running....is that bad ??? I mean its hard but I always manage at least 20 to 30 minutes running on 7.0 to 7.5, usually at my last minute I will pick up the speed to 10. Then do a 2 minute cool off...
