My name is Matt. I'm 17 and planning on going to college for theatre, and with that right around the corner I can't afford to be... pleasantly plump would be a nice way to put it. I can't sing and dance on stage if I'm out of breathe.
I've been jogging a lot lately, but can't seem to hold a good diet or find an exercise program that works. So I found this site, and can't wait to get started using all the great tips here.

Hi Matt and welcome to Freetrainers! You are right, there are tons of fantastic tips all available to you for use as well as great exercise programs to fit your goals. I would suggest starting out on a free exercise program here on the site, you can do that by clicking at the "Fitness Programs" at the top of this page, answer all the questions and there you go!
Good luck with your future goals and we will see you on Broadway! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I love a lot of the excercises shown here, though it only makes me realize that I should have been doing this long before I started.
Even though I've only been jogging/swimming etc for a couple months, every day I can go further easier. If I hadn't been so lazy in the past I would have realized how much fun it is!

It's better to start late, then never though, so you are headed in the right direction. You will do good I am sure. :)

Its always good to join sports. which are fun and healthy. also remember to have eneough protien, fruit, and skip the yummy chocolate and chips and soda..i know its sad. but say goodbye to those empty calorie (things that are high in calories but dont fill you up) foods. and start eating right! (stay motivated with all the great people on this site!)
