I am recently new to this site and really hope that I can achieve something from it. For about 2 years I suffered from anorexia and bulimia, I lost about 50 pounds. I began visiting a clinic and gained all the previous weight back plus about 5 pounds. I feel horrible. I still limit my caloric intake to about 1200 kcal/day and exercise daily vigorously. I'm so frustrated because I lose no wieght and gain no muscle. Right now I'm at about 138, and I am miserable. I don't want to go into the public because I feel so fat. I desperately need some help. I've tried metabolism boosting pills, and they do nothing for me. If anyone has just alittle bit of advice that could help me I would be very appreciative!!! Thanks in advance!!

Well first of all you have made psotive steps to getting healthly again. I can not say that I understand what you are going tru...no lol i have the opposite problem. But I think that thgis site and those of us on here can be a hlep. Most if not all of us at times have had problems and i know that ohters here have gone thru what you are and made it. I would think that setting small both in eating and in weight traing would be good. Make them so you can reach them. Realize that there will be setbacks. Fill out your profile and gives us an idea as to what you want to accomplish! Good luck! And welcome.

Hi Gwenyth...seeing you here means you are on the right track.
What is your height? Can you get into a gym.
Make sure you eat good carbs, (not refined) and get lots of protein. You will feel better.
There are other posts on the same subject here, try doing a search.
Good Luck reaching your goals.

Sorry...I missed your profile. After reading it, I suggest you keep exercising with cardio and weights. Don't worry about what the scale says. Go by how you feel, and perhaps you might want to measure yourself and see some nice changes.
Stick around and you will do ok.
