I just started the freetrainers intermediate course today, and what a great workout it was! I did 3-4 sets of varying reps of deadlifts, bench presses, and flat bench dumbell flyes. I was also supposed to do donkey calf raises, but I don't have a machine here at home. I did a few close grip chinups on a beam underneath my deck here at home, but I couldn't do too many. Before the workout, I ran about half a mile, which I eventually hope to get to 1.5-2 miles non stop. I plan on doing this freetrainers workout/running three times a week. I feel good that I just did the workout and I am excited about getting into shape.

Right now I'm at 193 pounds and I'm 5' 10". I don't look bad as I have a naturally strong chest and shoulders, but my stomach is starting to pooch out and I'm generally softer looking than I would like.My goal would be to just feel good about the way I would look. This proably means getting a flat stomach(it doesn't have to be a six pack) and shedding some of the extra fat around my body, and getting a more defined jawline. I think these are reasonable goals if I run/do this workout plan, and try to eat decently.

I just hope I'm not too sore tomorrow.
