I'm another new mom who needs help! I'm only 6 lbs. away from my pre-pregnancy weight but far away from fitting back into my old clothes due to the redistribution of my weight onto my hips. How can I focus on that area without adding any bulk to my thighs?

Hi cjklutz,
Its been awhile since my last baby but I will say that the peeps in here and at my gym have said Cardio, Eat Healthy, lift and get rest. I have found that the weights have been a tremendous help in tone. I seem to burn faster fat. None of the areas am I really able to spot reduce, but the whole body seems to adjust and enjoy the workouts. Im tone and I find that helps me with the clothes fitting the way I like. Advice though, Ive had three children my last I slacked and gained 50lbs from. I remember being 6lbs and then it became 10 etc. Work now and make sure you change the way you eat and workout. You'll be so happy you did. This health thing is a life style change. Im 48 and feel so great but its only been since I worked my butt off to get back to my 5'4 frame and weight. Good luck: MOMS STRIVE ON :)AND CAN STILL BE SEXY AND YOUTHFUL :) lol
