New Orleans (Not W/O related)

mikencharleston Posts: 1,585 Joined: 2002/01/09	2006/03/22, 06:02 PM I just got back home after spending the last several days in New orleans and went through Biloxi to make a drop off. TV definitely gives the impression that those places were beat up by Katrina but seeing it first hand was almost a shock. Ivan destroyed a couple of thousand homes here in Pensacola but one whole part of Biloxi literally ceased to exist. New Orleans looks like the hurricane hit there a couple of days ago and not six months ago. That place will be years getting it back together. I think I'll give more considerable thought to sticking it out in a Cat III or higher again. -------------- Mike in Pensacola Now.
