Coppertone Gradual Tan moisturizing lotion - I have been putig in on after my shower and i really like the subtle tan that has developed - it isn't fake looking and it is just enough that I don't feel so freakishly pale. (I am scared to really tan, as i am very fair, burn easily and hypochondriac).
Anyhow - just thought it was a cheap, easy pick-me-up, for anyone interested!

Ugh... freakishly pale here in the cornfield too. I hate that. I'm ready to drag my lawn chair and accessories to the middle of the cornfield, get naked and bake. But since my environment is still a little on the hostile side, I'll go get some of this gradual tanning stuff. Heaven knows that I don't have enough bottles and jars of female fix-it crap in my bathroom, so this will be a nice addition. Thanks for helpful hint asimmer!

Is it one of those products when it wears off it looks like you have leprosy?

No, it pretty much just fades. It isn't a very dark tan, and if you work out and shower everyday it just doesn't have the chance to get darker, but it makes the blinding whiteness turn a nice, normal color that doesn't hurt to look at:)

I will have to try that, Amy. I am guilty of spending hours on those inflatables while in the pool after a good workout and now and then go to the tanning booth in the winter months, though not yet this year, but both are not good, so this may be my save-all as I look sickly when I get too pale, not like others that have that beautiful porcelain (sp? where is my spellchecker?) skin look to them!

I did one of those spray-on booths a few days before the Olympia. It worked well: $20 for a visit, and it faded into a pretty decent tan for only one visit, then faded away. Just my 2 cents and a cup of coffee....

We don't have any of those booths, but rather individuals that you stand in front of and they spray you (unless they are one in the same??) and I would LOVE to do that, but not ready to share my naked or near naked self quite yet, lol!! :)

Hey all-
To get a bronzed look on your face without spending any money you can take your loose face powder and mix it in with your moisturizer (with spf of course) and apply it to your face. It is great for summer and you don't need any other foundation after that. It will act just like a tinted moisturizer from the store. :)
