hello im new here and just wanted to say hi...my goal is to loose 20lbs, and keep it off. i just quit smoking and gained some weight, my cholestrol is a little high at 220, and i just want to get trimmed again. well anyways just wanted to say hello, any advice or plans will be appreciated. thanks

thanks...lol, starded my first week of training...the 3rd day i thought i was paralized..lol, lets hope week 2 is better....

I always joke that I should have bought stock in Advil when I started lifting. It's an anti-inflamatory, which won't do anything for lifting soreness, but it also blocks the nerve receptors for prostaglandins (chemicals produced and released by injured cells that act to amplify the sensation of pain) so you still hurt, but not to the same degree. The key to using it as a pain blocker is to take it BEFORE the pain sets in.
