Hi, I'm new here and just thought I'd drop a hello. I'm 20 years old and have a fairly active lifestyle. I go to the gym regularily, live on the lake (and in the water when its hot out), have 2 horses, love sports (am playing beach volleyball right now) and am up for just about anything. I blew my knee out a year ago playing polo and while i don't really have excess weight that wasn't there before to complain about it didn't do nice things in terms of cardio fitness. I just started a running program and of course i'd like to tone up and decrease my body fat percentage. I've recently lost 22lbs but am still working towards a better body. I joined the site a few days back and already started. So far it seems great and makes my gym time much more efficient. I'm too shy to go bug gym people about fitness programs and such so thanks for the great site :)

Thanks :) Just a quick question...do the moderators look over your profile AND picture before posting it up? I've filled out my profile twice and put in a picture but everytime I log on it says null in the boxes and no picture is up yet (after 4 days)

My profile updated instantly when I get the 'Go' Tab underneath the boxes. I just tried to make sure, and it updated. As for the picture, I don't know, sorry.
-The best thing to do Kaysar is cardio. Ride a bike, go for jogs, swimming, and the sort; make sure to drink plenty of water, and no high sugar foods.

Hi,
I have been working out consistently for about a year now, I have lost a lot of weight and toned up huge. Recently I have read that it is best to do your cardio right in the morning or after a work out. I run for my cardio mainly and all last summer I would do it righ tin the morning before work. However lately I am not able to make it to the gym until after work. In that case is it best that I do weight training first and THEN do cardio? Or is it still okay to run first???
Also, when i run in the morning it is usually outside at home because I work too early to make it to the gym and back to work. So I will run outside then do abs and very little weights in my basement as we do not have that much free weights (nothing compared to what i do at the gym). Would it be better to make run in the morning, then after work go to the gym and do weight training?
Does anyone know what is best?
Thanks
