Hello everyone!

My name is Jesse, and i've joined with the intention of getting back into shape, toning up, and trimming down. Which is probably the intention of many, hence why we're all here. My biggest problem it would seem is motivation, lately. I am a United States Future Sailor, and we do physical training once or twice a week, of which I have not been able to make many because of distance (although that is changing!). My colleague who I catch a ride with is supposed to work out with me on our off days. Which usually having someone there to talk to about goals, work out with, and press on is all I need. Problem? She is a whiner, hates working out, and always comes up with excuses to not have to. What's worse is that she is nonetheless in better shape than I am, so it leaves me feeling that much more un-motivated. Due to such i'm trying to abide by this sites fitness plans, which hopefully won't be too big of a problem. My concern is losing my motivation though and I am kind of looking for either anyone in a similar boat or who just wants a motivational friend to speak with about how they're doing.
Other than thaaaaat. How is everyone today? =P

My advice is just get together and when she starts whining put your earphones in, turn up some high energy motivating music and shout loudly "WHAT!!!! I CANT HEAR YOU." While you're working out as hard as you can.

You never know, you might end up motivating her.
