Well, I'm finally here. I finally decided to do something about my weight "problem." It's not really a problem, it's more the, "I have to finally loose all that child-bearing weight and get my body back. I've been back on the work-out scene for about 3 weeks now and am running into a snag. I can't seem to get my nutrition right. Can someone help me? I can't figure out how I can get my caloric content high enough along with my carb and protein without having my fat content raise the roof! Any suggestions would really be helpful!

Thanks all!
Sammi:(

Hi KC... Well, I'm 5'8 196 currently. My goal is to get down to a respectible 170-175. I've lost 25 lbs before July 13th, after that I've been platoing at my current weight. I weigh everything and am currently following a low fat, low carb, low sugar diet; which has worked along with excercise to get me to loose my initial weight.

I don't know what to do now that I'm not loosing anything anymore. I know I'm starting to build some muscle, and I can actually start to see a difference in my stomach, legs and arms, now I need to start doing something different to shake the scale fat. Don't get me wrong, I'm not weighing myself everyday, just once a week, but even with all of the positive food changes and strength training, I'm not seeing the difference that I want to see.

It may be time to change your workout routine or your diet.

I'm not so sure a low carb diet is meant to be long term. Check out the Diet Forum for some info there...
