You should take at least one full rest day a week. I weight train 5 days a week and try to do cardio 6 times a week. But your body needs one full day to heal. I am not sure what chromium picolate is. Have you signed up for a FT program yet? Good luck.

Hello and welcome to ft. This is a great place to start on a fitness plan. If you haven't signed up for one of the ft programs I would highly recommend it. You'll find all the advice and motivation you need here to get you started and keep you going. Good luck!

Not sure if you are male or female - but I too had not exercised in YEARS. Sometimes it's tuff gaining strength as I was never athletic...but trust me...stick with it and eventually the development and strength starts to surface. If male.....lucky you - I think men get faster results. I just know this is a great site and hopefully you will utilize the message boards - great topics and great advice! Good luck, don't give up, you've got friends at FT!
