Hey all,
Its Riz.
20/M/CT trying to look the hottest I can! So I figured I would regulate my diet and excersice.
So my first question is:
If I cant find a food in the nutrition tracker, is there anyway to submit a new food? I have these blueberry muffins from the grocery, but there isnt a single one that is close to it. Any ideas?
Thanks

- Riz

I was able to add foods just by entering the carbs, protein, and fat grams, instead of a food. Might be a way to get around the tracker not having the food you are looking for.

Hey, that would work great! Could you tell me how you did that.
Much appreciated

Hmmmm blueberry muffins!! (wanna share?! ;o)

You don't know the nutrition facts of those muffins? Well you can always try to look at http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/cgi-bin/nut_search.pl
or http://www.calorieking.com/foods/

Good luck to you Riz!

Oh no, I do know the nutritional value of the muffins, but its just that they are way off from anything the nutrition tracker here has in its database. So I was wondering how to enter it myself.
Thanks
Riz

In the nutrition tracker there is a place where you can enter "carbohydrate supplement, fat supplements, and protein supplements" I just clicked on the protein supplement and entered the amount of protein grams. Same for carbs and fats. You can also enter more than one meal but I haven't figured that out yet. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks TJ!! That will help me a lot!!!
And the results of my first day have been pretty close to target, with maybe only 65% of the alloted fat intake, 117% of carbs (and I thought I wouldn't be able to get close to the target!!) about 85% protein, and 95% calories! Not bad, but I definitely need to work on the protein... because that was WITH a protein shake!!

For your question TJ, When you go to the meal tracker where you can click on your meal to enter foods, there are yellow buttons on the bottom. One is "add a meal".
Hope that helps you!
