Hi, I am new to the board and the site and I am looking to lose about 30 lbs by this summer. I do martial arts about 2 days a week, but it isn't enough to lose weight. I also have Hashimoto's thyroiditis that is potentially going to nix me losing any weight but I am not going to give up. I am also going into surgery on the 25 of this month to remove half of my thyroid due to nodules that may or may not be cancerous. I want to be at least 10 pounds lighter before my surgery since I won't be able to do anything strenuous for three weeks after my surgery. I just want to be healhtier and be able to fit better in my jeans. I hope that this site will help me reach my goals.
