Hello everyone! My name is Dale and I'm a US Marine. My reason for joining this program is so I can maintain a workout routine so I can achieve the body I've always wanted. Any tips would be apprrciated.

Do you already have a routine in place? What types of goals do you have for yourself? Can you list them?

I've been to gym here and there in the past but I never had a set schedule or routine. I think that's why I never stuck with it. My goals are to loss a little weight in the midsection (love handles mostly), have a more defined chest, and have an over all toned body. I'm not worried about gaining tomuch mass because I don't want to get big. I just to have a lean, toned body.

Sounds nice and simple. A routine is a GREAT way to keep you going, and DO NOT over do it at first, ease into it. Otherwise you risk hitting that point where the 1 day off turns into a week, then 2 then you just don't want to go back. Well you do want to, but just don't and end up finding excuses, and trying to rationalize not going. Vicious cycle, been there plenty of times in the past. A good 45 min. or so workout, 3 days a week, would be ideal, followed by 30 min's of cardio. Maybe not to start, but something easy to work towards. Then once you start seeing the results you are looking for you can modify your exercise, cardio on alternate days maybe or whatever works for you.
