Hi everyone, cool site with a lot of info. First problem though, I can't find any recomendations for how much weight to start with on the first week, any help would be appreciated.

The best thing to do is pick up a weight you THINK you can do the required number of reps. If its easy increase the weight, too heavy decrease it. It really is a guessing game the first time!!!

Iltroisi is right on..
everybody is different and it is impossible for ft to predict what your strength is from your height and weight and sex and so on.. ..
ft recommends that you find a weight that you can do the amount of repetition assigned so that you will have difficulty at the last rep. Understand?

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to start the workouts tonight, I thought it would be as you suggested but it never hurts to double check with things like this, don't want to get injured before i've really got going.
