Hello everyone, I'm excited to see so many people pumped up about losing weight and getting in shape.
I'm 38 (quickly approaching 39) and I need to get back in shape. 20 years ago I was seriously 135lbs, from age 25-35 I was in the 190ish range with the exception of being pregnant which I lost all that baby/water weight within 2 weeks. Then about 4 years ago I had my tonsils removed when I dropped to 180lbs (lost 20) in 2 weeks from not being able to eat, then my body proceeded to gain that 20 back and add another 30 in the next 6 months. I'm not sure if it's a metablism thing or what but I have had one heck of a time getting and keeping off more than 10 pounds.
At vacation last week I kept seeing my son body surf in the ocean. My son has my old body and is as skinny as I was at his age (13). I can be thin again, I have to figure this out even if it's a slow process. This workout and eating plan seems very doable and I am ready to begin this process. I'm tired of being tired and I'm really fed up with the fat controlling my life.
I'm looking forward to seeing my abs again....I'd love to hear from anyone who has advice for keeping on track.
