Hello:) I am a 23 year old mother of three great kids. My family has a history of diabetes (my father has already lost his legs/teeth/ some eyesight from it), so here lately I have been stressing alot about when I will be diagnosed with it and if I can prevent getting it at all. Since some beleive it to be hereditary, I worry I may not be able to stave it off forever, but hope I can prolong my life without diabetes. When I got pregnant with my first child I weighed 155 lbs and most people said I was "bony" looking. I gained 50 lbs during pregnancy with him, lost 30 of it, 2nd child I gained 50 lbs and lost 20 of it, and my third child I gained 70 lbs , didnt lose any and kept going up. I eventually wound up at 260 lbs. Two years ago I manages to get down to 185, but more because of stress than a healthy lifestyle. I now weigh 208 and would like to get down to 165-175. I dont eat much fat. I use Lean Turkey meat as a substitute for beef in alot of things like chili/tacos/helpers/hamburgers etc. I tend to get really bad sweets cravings, but recently I started substituting sugar free Jello cups with a little fat free cool-whip on top or these delicious creamsicle like bars that blue bunny makes (sugar free..fat free)instead of eating a pack of those delicious red zingers. Yesterday I worked out seriously for the first time in over a year. I bought the Chyna (former pro wrestler)Fitness video and this morning I can feel muscles (achingly)I didnt even know I had. My main problem though, is although I can feel the awesome tightness in my back, shoulders, triceps, and a little in butt, those arent really my main concern. Most of my body fat is in my abdominal area. This is why I found this site and I hope it helps me develop a workout I can add to the Chyna video to get toned abs.
Ok..After all that ranting about me...I do have a question. The nutritional guide here says I need to take in 2770 calories per day. ?!?!?!?!?! If the average person needs 2000, why is mine so much higher when I am trying to lose weight, not gain it? I calculated my foods from yesterday and it only came up to 1550 calories. I take Hydroxycut-1 pill per meal except dinner (if i do it at dinner, i cant sleep)
Trimpsa x32 2 in the a.m. and 1 at lunch and 1 at dinner
WeightSmart 1 a day for women
Vitamin E 400i.u
Cayenne Fruit 40000STU (mostly for my sinuses though)
What is the point in taking a supplement that suppresses your appetite if you are supposed to eat so many calories per day. I would have gotten very sick to the stomach if I had eaten that much yesterday! Could this number possibly be right? I am very confused on this! Please Help
