Hello all. I am ready to start doing the program that I was given from FT. However I do have one question before I get started. Am I supposed to do each exercise, all 4 sets, with a stretch between sets then move on to next exercise. Or am I supposed to do all exercises, 1 set with a stretch then move on to set 2,stretch, set 3 and so on? Am trying to lose weight for a cruise in April and need to lose about 30 lbs. Thanks for the help.

Hi sadari...beautiful name..my sisters name is sarai..very close, both very pretty...anyway...I've learned on this site that stretching in between sets isn't such a good idea...I know it says to in your program..but I've learned from some experts on here that it isn't the best way to go...you would be better off to do a light warm-up to get the blood flowing..like 3 min on a treadmill..or even jumping jacks...then do a set prior to each exercise with a light weight..and stretch afterwords, after you have completed your entire routine...there is alot of info on here...you could use the fitbuddy below...just type in stretching and you'll get lots of info...good luck!!:)

Most of the plans on here are set up so that you do all sets for a given exercise, then move on. Don't get hooked on all the stretching.

Thank you both for your answers. I now feel a little more confident about getting started on Monday. Am looking forward to learning more as I go.
