My food intake is around 11,000 calories after 3 meals a day. I do about 30 to 45 min of cardio "jump rope mostly / Basketball" 5 days a week... At night I drink 2 to 4 light beers "Miller Light" I believe they have 90 calories each... any thoughts on the Beer?? I've been drinking for a while now so it’s hard to cut down, and believe me 2 beers a night is really cutting down... I've been dieting and doing cardio for two weeks now, and plan to stay on it.

11 000 calories? thats pretty high.. if you are looking to get healthy and in shape, drinking every night is not going to help.. try to ween yourself off it, to maybe just a few each week, or only a few on certain days

try filling out your nutritional profile to see reasonable daily intake values.. maybe look into starting a weight training program. resistance training will help stimulate your metabolism to speed up, and doubled up with cardio, will really have an effect on your body.

LOL!!! 11,000! No way... I'm sorry I screwed up, lol
I meant 1,100...after the drinks I'd say 1,500... I drink a slim fast in the A.M. healthy choice frozen dinner for lunch and same for dinner...

Yeah I'd have to agree that's not much calories. Eat real food just like sbroyhill said. The frozen dinner and slim fast drinks are not going to help much. Take a look at the grocer list for bodybuilders sticky in the nutrition message boards. It's not only for bodybuilders but for people who want to lose weight or just simply eat and be healthy. Just as bropie said, think about adding a weight resistance program into your workout. And about the beer, it would be best drop it. Sorry for the bad news on that one. With as little calories as you are consuming per day, I would think that you are losing weight drastically. This is not always a good thing. You could be sacrificing muscle as you are not feeding your muscles enough to maintain lean muscle mass and lose weight. Fill out your profile in the nutritional plan at the top of this page and follow what it gives you. (Many people say that the calories and carbs are a bit high. Just post what it says here and I'm sure someone will help you out with that.)
Goodluck on your goals.

You might be losing weight for now on that diet, however your body will go into starvation mode and start storing fat, thus putting the weight back on...if it hasn't already. Trust me...I used to eat like this. Get 6 mini-meals a day (beer is not a meal). If you're serious about it then cut the beers back to weekends, or just once on the weekend and for a while make that day your cheat day (but don't overdue it).
Fill out your profile and we'll be able to help you out a bit better.

Well, I'd say your first problem is that your drinking miller light. Come'on, for a mere 29 more calories you be drinking Guinness.
