I've never been a very active person. I was chubby as a child, hitting 200lbs before I was in high school.
Recently I've been taking my life into consideration and I decided that if I wanted to change myself, I should quit being lazy and start doing healthier things for me. Currently I spend countless hours sitting on my computer, eating unhealthy foods and doing absolutely no exercise.
I'm 5'6 and a half, 220 lbs, my BMI is 35.58 and my total body fat is 40%. My goal is to someday join the military and do something useful with my life.
Browsing around the forum I'm glad to see I am not alone. I hope you will all support me in my conquest and I will do the same for you. :big_smile:
Congratulations on your decision to improve yourself. Being an Army guy I'm also glad to hear you want to serve. I hope you can stick with it, especially starting out the things you'll want to watch out for are injuries and overtraining. I know when I started I wanted instant results but the truth is it takes some time. There are tons of resources on this great site and I hope you find a plan that works for you!
