Newbie - Working on Losing the Gut

I finally got sick and tired of not fitting into my clothes, being sick all the time, and being out of breath after just half a flight of stairs. So, I joined a gym back in February.

Things have been going OK for me there. I even hired one of their personal trainers for 30 minutes of one-on-one time twice a month. Then I signed up for this weight training program (very similar to what we get here, but only weights - no nutrition stuff).

Then, I had a weigh-in and I actually gained body fat! I was frustrated and confused. I thought I had been doing a pretty good job (there was a little hiatus in-between for a few weeks because I was slammed at work).

I just didn't know how much exercise and nutrition info I was clueless about. Unfortunately, I'm locked in with the personal trainer for a year, but I cancelled the weight training program because I found this place, and it offers so much more, for so much less.

I look forward to the journey from here!
