Hi well I signed up over a year ago a couple moths before I went on a cruise ... it worked and I lost enough weight to fit back into my swim suit.

Problem is that I can never keep to a program. So I've put on the weight I lost ... pluss about 10 extra. So I guess thats why I'm here again. Also I'm trying to effect a "lifestyle change" so that I dont have to be doing this yo-yo thing.

I have bad knees due to rheumatiod arthritis so squats and lunges are really a killer .... what other exercises can I do to tackle the butt and thigh area??

also my downfall in definitely snacking ... I'm fine for breakfast and lunch, but because I dont really cook dinner I usually end up eating crap at that time.
:(

Yes...definitely the lifestyle change is your best bet in finally getting rid of your yo-yo diets.

And, as you figured out, diet is 80% of the battle. It has to start there. As far as toning/affecting your butt and thigh area, look at the list of FT exercises for alternatives.

Good luck and look for motivation here at FT...

Have to agree with Robert.....forget yo yo dieting and make yourself a healthy lifestyle.

hmmm....I think I have the same problem that simsimma has. Having a hectic schedule and odd work hours definitely add to having yoyo weight. It can get discouraging because no matter how much my mind is psyched up to work out, I'm too tired. any advice on this? pwetty pwease?

Obviously the first, best piece of advice anyone can give you is to quit babytalking.

The second piece of advice is to try changing your workout time. Or you might find that you enjoy your workout more if you divide it up, half in the morning and half in the evening. Examine your diet as well, are you getting enough food to sustain your busy lifestyle.

Hope this helps and good luck!
