i just started progrma other day and i was sonder for curls and stuff should o use extra weights as they do have a weight window to input

Id say use the weights you can make all the twarget reps with. Everyone is different so the weight you will use will differ to what I would use.. Start your first set with something light and if it was too easy .. add more weight for the next set .. and do it that way.

if your goal is to bulk up yes pyramid the weights. if it is to tone than keep it low but challenging and the goal then is to do more reps.
