I've never had nice looking arms. But I've noticed through lifting about 1.5 months, my arms aren't as flabby. It actually has more of a shape. I've been doing the intense shoulder thing, so I'm seeing a bit of the shoulders.

I've been wearing sleavess shirts/jerseys more and my coworker has noticed them.

Will my arms continue to become toned?

Definately. As long as you stick to it. That is great progress for only six weeks. Good job!! The fact that others notice is a sure sign you're doing something correctly. The Hog.

Sure will.

Ive been lifting for 4 months, and i am tottaly impressed with the results.

My arms where once devoid of any type of shape, but now i have got great arms and can alternate curl 50pound easily.

Keep at it and they will get a hell of alot better!

Way to go lady!! Feels good,eh? Well that's what it's all about...Feeling good about yourself. Good luck with the rest of your "body-building". Remeber you don't have the natural testosterone to get huge, so yes you will get toned.

thanks. Yes. I don't always enjoy my workouts, but seeing and knowing the results keeps me motivated. I think I can do at least one set of 5 for my biceps with 5 kg. I ride an electric bike everyday for my transportation, so I need my arms to be strong.

Arms r such bodyparts which r very showy and needs good pump 2 keep in shape.Try doing it atleast 2 days a week for 40-45 minutes.Even Arnold does it .

Could you explain what a good "pump" is?

If you keep working them. If your happy with the size than do average weight for a larger number of repititions. But if you want to grow even more then do some heavier weight and only do them for like 5-10 reps.(depends from person)

I like them so far, but I would like to have them more toned. So I guess I have to keep pumping them to make them look even nicer.

There's a difference between pumping and toning. Pumping is to build muscle, where as toning is for shaping and defining the muscle. Which are you going for? Pumping should come first if you need mass. Once you've got your size then do low weight high reps to tone. If you're a female then try to avoid the shoulders being massive; shoulders are a widening muscle that body builders with narrow clavicles work to make them seem bigger. So only define your shoulders and pump & tone your bi's and tri's. Best Wishes.

Thanks sandman. Thats a good thing to know. I'm planning to probably tone both the shoulders and bi's/tri's.
